This Membership Agreement & Community Terms supplements the Terms of Service governing your use of our website. By becoming a member of The Special Needs Mama Bear®, you agree to both the Website Terms of Service and this Membership Agreement. In the event of any inconsistency, this Membership Agreement will govern matters specifically relating to your membership, community participation, coaching, workshops, training, member resources, and other membership benefits.

1. Purpose of Membership

The Special Needs Mama Bear® memberships are designed to educate, equip, and encourage parents and caregivers raising children with disabilities through educational content, practical tools, coaching, community discussions, and shared learning experiences.

These Membership Terms of Use apply to your participation in all benefits and services provided as part of your membership, including, but not limited to, workshops, trainings, webinars, coaching sessions, group coaching, one-to-one coaching, downloadable resources, digital products, live events, community discussions, recordings, and any other membership benefits made available under your membership level.

Joining a Special Needs Mama Bear® membership does not create any professional or legal relationship with anyone involved in delivering the membership, including Raising Special Needs Inc., Christine Staple Ebanks, the Special Needs Mama Bear® Team, guest experts, collaborators, contractors, volunteers, or representatives.

Participation in any membership benefit or service does not create a doctor-patient, therapist-client, attorney-client, educator-student, fiduciary, agency, employment, partnership, joint venture, or any other professional relationship between any member and Raising Special Needs Inc., Christine Staple Ebanks, or the Special Needs Mama Bear® Team.

Membership is provided solely for educational, informational, and community support purposes.

2. Acceptance of These Terms

By purchasing, activating, renewing, or participating in any Special Needs Mama Bear® membership, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Membership Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy, and any policies referenced herein.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not purchase, renew, or participate in any membership.

Your continued membership constitutes your ongoing acceptance of these Terms, including any future revisions.

A copy of these Terms will be emailed to you following your purchase.

These Terms apply to all membership levels, including:

  • The Mama Bear Den
  • The Mama Bear Collective
  • The Mama Bear Inner Circle

You represent that you are at least eighteen (18) years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.

3. Subscription Billing, Renewal & Cancellation

Memberships are billed monthly or annually, depending on the plan selected.

Memberships automatically renew unless canceled before your next billing date.

By purchasing a membership, you authorize Raising Special Needs Inc. to charge your selected payment method for each renewal period.

Should membership pricing change, members will receive at least thirty (30) days' advance notice by email.

You may cancel your membership at any time through your member dashboard or by contacting us directly.

Cancellation prevents future renewals. Membership benefits remain available until the end of your current paid billing period.

All membership fees are non-refundable. No partial refunds or prorated credits will be issued.

4. Failed Payments

If payment cannot be processed, we will automatically attempt to process it again.

If payment remains outstanding after seven (7) days, access to membership content, coaching, workshops, community spaces, digital resources, and all membership benefits may be suspended until payment has been received.

You remain responsible for any outstanding fees incurred while your membership was active.

5. Individual Membership & Account Security

Membership is issued to one individual only. Membership is personal, individual, and non-transferable.

You may not:

  • Share your login credentials.
  • Allow another individual to use your membership.

Every family's journey is unique. Members may have different experiences, beliefs, opinions, diagnoses, treatment approaches, educational philosophies, and advocacy strategies. Those differences should always be met with dignity and respect.

By participating in the community, you agree to uphold our values of kindness, respect, integrity, professionalism, encouragement, compassion, and mutual support.

Members agree to:

  • Treat every member with dignity and respect.
  • Respect differing opinions and lived experiences.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of information shared by other members.
  • Offer encouragement without judgment.
  • Share personal experiences honestly while recognizing that every family's journey is different.
  • Help create a community where every family feels welcomed, heard, and valued.

The following behaviors are prohibited:

  • Bullying or harassment.
  • Personal attacks or intimidation.
  • Hate speech or discriminatory language.
  • Threatening, abusive, or disrespectful conduct.
  • Sharing another member's confidential information without permission.
  • Spam, solicitation, or excessive self-promotion.
  • Knowingly posting false or misleading information.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to remove content, restrict participation, suspend access, or terminate membership without refund if a member's conduct violates these Community Values or is determined to be harmful to other members or the integrity of the Special Needs Mama Bear® community.

11. Educational Purpose & Professional Disclaimer

All coaching conversations, workshops, trainings, webinars, downloadable resources, advocacy tools, templates, planning materials, examples, checklists, community discussions, and other membership content are provided solely for educational and informational purposes.

They are intended to help you become a more informed and prepared advocate for your child and to support your own planning and decision-making.

They are not intended to replace the advice, diagnosis, treatment, services, or professional judgment of physicians, attorneys, therapists, psychologists, educators, financial advisors, accountants, social workers, or other qualified professionals.

Every child, diagnosis, family, school district, healthcare provider, insurance plan, government agency, and legal situation is unique. Decisions regarding your child should always be based on your family's individual circumstances and, where appropriate, in consultation with qualified professionals.

12. Advocacy & Coaching Disclaimer

Our advocacy tools, templates, sample letters, meeting preparation resources, coaching conversations, educational examples, and planning materials are intended to help members prepare for conversations, organize information, identify questions to ask, explore available options, and think through decisions.

We cannot guarantee how schools, healthcare providers, insurers, employers, government agencies, or other organizations will respond to the use of these materials.

Members remain solely responsible for all decisions made regarding their child, family, education, healthcare, legal matters, finances, services, and long-term planning.

Coaching is educational and supportive in nature. It is not therapy, counseling, legal representation, medical consultation, crisis intervention, case management, or any other licensed professional service.

13. Recordings

Certain live workshops, trainings, coaching sessions, webinars, community events, and other membership activities may be recorded for educational purposes.

By participating in live events, you acknowledge that your name, voice, image, comments, or questions may appear in recordings unless you choose to limit your participation where available.

All recordings remain the exclusive intellectual property of Raising Special Needs Inc.
